Between 1928 and 1971, the Nursery has planted different species of exotic softwood and hardwoods to verify their resistance to Abitibi climate. In these experiments, several species have survived and are now mature trees (~ 75 years) and majestic! Throughout the journey, you will find exotic trees, native species, research devices and relics of an era.
