Discover the outstanding historical features of the city such as the arrival of the Grey Nuns and the golden age of navigation on the Harricana. Discover the stories of our heritage monuments such as the Courthouse or the Cathedral. Explore the rich cultural, commercial, medical, and political heritage and meet amazing people like Capitaine Yergeau, Albertine
Turcotte, Curé Dudemaine, Docteur Bigué or Hector Authier. The story is funny and unbelievable, informative and moving, and above all, unique and entertaining! Little Amos presents the great builders and dreamers who forged the cradle of Abitibi today, accompanied by theatrical scenes throughout. Discover Amos’ historic downtown along a 3-kilometer walkway in good or bad weather, bordered by the majestic Harricana River.
